The trackilisting on the back cover is incorrectly listed, I think this was a general mistake with this release. But just pointing it out to avoid any confusion. E.G. *Come and buy is listed as track 3, where this is "fire". And track 4 side on b, has "money" on the label its I've got money".

Condition :

This came from the polydor record club & has had zero plays in over 35 years. The cover is free from any ripping or tear, handwritten names. Although a some parts of crease to the laminated front. Intact spine at the side, still legible. With no record push through. The back cover also - no rip, tear or handwriting in ink or biro pen. Clean matt cover with fold over laminated from the front intact, no loosening of glue. All track titles and text is fully legible. No ringwear is present on the front or back cover. There are also no signs of damp or smell, age or dust. out of 100% this is 85%. Excellent.

The labels :

Are on side -a- THE TEXTURED TYPE. Minimal spindle wear on this side. About 3 counted under extreme bright white light. No names or damages such as , fade, tear. Perfectly clear text all intact. Side-b- has a few more spindles around the centre pinhole, although not overun by these there are some to be seen, only at an angle though & under bright lit situations. no ripping or tear, fade or any other negative issues to list. pretty great for an ORIGINAL 1968 release. These also have the triangle M33 printed. This is a MONO version. Out of 100% these are on both sides 90% correct.

The record : Has no warping or structure damage, it sits perfectly 100% flat on a turntable. I visually grade & test the audio of any record I list. Visual apperance is MINT. You could barely see any signs of prior use. On both sides I checked under harsh white light & am happy to say, here we have a beautiful clean scratch free or damage free record. No chips or bumps, this was only ever played carefully at home. Nice!! resulting in a very enjoyable test play. The psyched out nature of this full masterpeice is astounding. And the time taken to mix & produce the seperate parts is a story in itself. It took months to master & perfect. Kit Lambert mainly produced this, assisted by Pete Townshend. The record is as close to a mint copie as yopu could wish for a 1968 release. VERY VERY clean & fresh. 100% for appearance & audio. The inner is a far as I remember the original & is in excellent shape, with no damage here. This will be removed & replaced for transit. You can also see in "payment & shipping" the type of mailers used. These are custom box mailers, tryed & tested.

Record will be packed in a tough custom box DEFENDAPACK mailer as shown in the photos below. The mailer has a locking tab. The record will be placed outside the cover inside a polythene protector between two card stiffeners and sealed at the top with fragile marked masking tape.

Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condiition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displayes no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any moajor defects is acceptable

Good (G) Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has notceably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc

Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler

CD's and CASSETTES As a general rule CD's and Cassettes either play perfectly - inwhich case they are in Mint condition - or they don't, in which case their value is minimal. Cassette tape is liable to deteriorate with age, even if it remains unplayed, so care should be taken when buying old tapes. CD's are difficult to grade visually; they can look perfect but actually be faulty, while in other cases they may appear damaged but still play perfectly. Cassette and CD inlays and booklets should be graded in the same way as record covers and sleeves. In general, the plastic containers for cassettes and CDs can easily be replaces if they are broken or scratched, but card covers and digipaks are subject to the same wear as record sleeves
