On offer here is a very VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Art called 'Supernatural Fairytales' and is a 1967 MONO UK 1st pressing!!!! THIS HAS TO BE REGARDED AS ONE OF THE RAREST LPS ON THE ISLAND LABEL!!!! THIS IS A MASSIVE RARITY AND SUPERBLY RARE IN EVERY RESPECT!!!! THIS IS THE 1967 MONO 1ST PRESSING WITH THE 1ST PRESS 'TEXTURED' ISLAND 'CIRCLE' LOGO AND LAMINATED MONO 1ST PRESS COVER!!!! NOT ONLY THAT - BUT THIS LP IS IN STUNNING CONDITION - SO DONT MISS OUT!!!! This is an ORIGINAL Island UK MONO 1st pressing from 1967 and is in STUNNING condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is ILP 967 on the ORIGINAL 'textured' 1st Press Island Label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Art at their best!!!! Any fan of Art, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in STUNNING condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, a couple of MEGA LIGHT NON sounding surface marks and only a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! There is also some lateral lines around the record 'with' the grooves (only visible under light) - but this is GUARANTEED from the original pressing (I seen this on 2 other pressings of this LP) and is NOT groovewear and of course DOES NOT sound in ANY WAY. These can ONLY be seen under bright light and is so minor that I doubt most would even mention it!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, NO crackle and only some mega MEGA low level surface noise (virtually ZERO) between tracks!!!! There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion. The record must grade Excellent (Minus) and is SO RARE to find in this condition!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL inner sleeve!!!! The 1st Press Laminated Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few light creases (cover is still flat looking), and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, barely ANY rubbing and NO yellowing!!!! The only other thing to mention is that the cover is very VERY slightly uneven (virtually unnoticeable). The cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!! THIS LP IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AND THIS IS A BRILLIANT CONDITIONED MONO 1ST PRESSING!!!! DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
