DESCRIPTION : Early-'60s AFRO-CUBAN / BLUE NOTE album from ART BLAKEY,
with YUSEF LATEEF, MONTEGO JOE, AHMED ABDUL-MALIK & more!
I believe this is an original FIRST (or very early) pressing as it has 'VAN GELDER' stampers, small 'ear' (stamped into
Side-2 run-out) + New York Address & 'microgroove' on both side labels (see attached images for more details)
Housed in a beautifuly designed REID MILES sleeve ...ORIGINAL USA PRESSING
CONDITION : Vinyl: EXCELLENT-/VG+ (few light surface marks and minor hairlines only. very light crackle in places)
In font laminated heavy card picture sleeve: VG (clean front, nice spine. corner wear. split bottom seam
& ring wear which affects the overall grade. Complete with Blue Note inner sleeve, which is a bit worn and split).
