I am auctioning a copy of Blue Note 1554: Art Blakey "Orgy In Rhythm Vol. 1". This is an original mono DEEP GROOVE Blue Note jazz record with the West 63rd address on both sides of the label. Musicians include: Art Blakey and Arthur Taylor (drums), Jo Jones and 'Specs' Wright (drums and tympani), Sabu (bongo and timbales), 'Potato' Valdez, Jose Valiente (congas), Ubaldo Nieto (timbales), Evilio Quintero (cencerro), Herbie Mann (flute), Ray Bryant (piano), and Wendell Marshall (bass). The song list includes: Side A: Buhaina Chant, Ya Ya; Side B: Toffi, Split Skins. Record visual grade: NM. Record plays NM. Cover grade: NM-. Cover is beautiful with lots of gloss.
