Over the next few months i will be selling on here a superb selection of rare Soul, Jazz, Funk and Latin LP's, acquired from a serious enthusiast who is trimming his collection down! Info: Original US stereo issue 'High Fidelity' LP, recorded in New York City, December, 1957.
This is a rare original pressing on quality thick vinyl, with blue and silver deep groove labels!
Comes in original front laminated card paste-on picture sleeve and has original plain paper inner sleeve. Lengthy, informative liner notes on rear by esteemed jazz musicologist/critic Nat Hentoff.
Line-up includes John Coltrane (who also composed the song 'Pristine'), Donald Byrd, Al Cohn, William Slapin, Frank Rehak, Ray Copeland, Walter Bishop and others...

Vinyl in very good+ condition.
Sleeve in very good condition with splits in parts of the top and bottom spines and some edge/corner scuffing. A bit of storage rub-wear and slight dust marking on rear, where there are also three numbers written in faint pencil. The front face still actually looks smooth and glossy with no creases or sticker marks, and just a small amount of laminate peeling at the very edges.
Inner sleeve has a split in each side edge but otherwise looks very good+.
