MONO pressing with the classic Blue & White labels and the NEW YORK USA address on the labels . The label is Deep Groove on side 1 only. "EAR" and VAN GELDER stamp in the trail-off on both sides. Matrix number is hand-etched on both sides. Thick vinyl, thick laminated cardboard cover. The personnel: Art Blakey/drums, tympani, gong, telegraph drum; Yusef Lateef/oboe, flute, tenor sax, cow horn, thumb piano; Ahmed Abdul-Malik/bass; Solomon G. Ilori/vocal, penny whistle, talking drum; Chief Bey/conga, telegraph drum, double gong; Montego Joe/bambara drum, double gong, corboro drum, log drum; Garvin Masseaux/chekere, African maracas, conga; James Ola.
