RENEE / LADY MAMIE ... 7-inch, 45rpm OST single by ARMANDO TROVAIOLI. Original Italian promo pressing on the CAM label (AMP 132), from 1974. Superb and desirable Italian soundtrack rarity by the maestro. Features the exotic lounge funk / mellow psychedelic groove of RENEE. Tropical mood music like a missing theme from the Piero Umiliani IL Corpo film score. Beautiful spaced-out atmospheres with stoned fender rhodes piano / hip hop tempo latin congas / hypnotic fender bassline / cinematic strings and groovy Brazilian guitar riffs. Lots of trance-inducing beats throughout this gorgeous theme :) The LADY MAMIE side is also superb. Trippy sunshine pop cum hippie soft rock with male lead vocals / counterpoint vocal chorus harmony and strings a la Carlo Pes Un Uomo Dalla Pelle Dura Library session on Pegaso label. Outstanding and very trendy music from the sexy comedy film, Di Mamma Non Ce N'e' Una Sola directed by Alfredo Giannetti starring Senta Berger / Lino Capolicchio and Sonia Petrova. For us, easily one of the best and most eclectic early '70s Trovajoli recordings. Always been a super-tricky item to find. This is the promotional issue too. Very rare OST 45!!!

Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG

Vinyl is closer to shiny M- condition overall regardless of the soft pops to the fading outro seconds of "Renee" side (as you can hear on the soundclip). Cannot actually see what causes these noises but the record is basically top otherwise, with just a few hairlines / faint scuffs from sleeve removal. Some light surface noises in general for an old record. Item taken from an unplayed deadstock of records and played once for the recording of the soundclip. The soft card picture sleeve is in strong VG++ condition overall with some ring creasing / light ring dirt marks and some outer edge creasing from storage. Some light corner and edge wear, in places. Very rare OST 45!!!
