Background on this eBay item -
Many audiophiles will agree that many of the recordings on the HP/TAS list of Super Disc LPs, just shouldn't be there! However, this is a wonderful exception! Incredible string tone and dynamics on this truyl Super Disc LP! Extremely rare and expensive these days as it is hardly ever seen anymore. A glorious performance and a record that should be in all serious music collections.
Please check out our other auction for the other Rossini String Sonata LP on the TAS list!

CONDITION Details:
The LP jacket is in Near Mint condition. No seam splits of any kind - it is nice and solid with just a little bit of seam wear. The cover front and seams have clarifoil. The picture on the cover is crisp, clean and lovely (see below).
The LP is in NEAR MINT minus condition! Very few ever so LIGHT marks on the vinyl - the record retains most of it's original glossy sheen. It is a lovely slab of super rare, audiophile vinyl - in remarkable condition given that the record is almost 40 years old. When playgraded on our audio system, the record performed flawlessly, with just a few light noise passages that does not detract from the performance in any way.A Short Note About LP GRADING -- Mint = Only used for sealed items.
- Near Mint = Virtually flawless in every way.
- Near Mint Minus = Item has some minor imperfections, some audible.
- Excellent = Item obviously played and enjoyed with some noise.
- Very Good Plus = Many more imperfections which are noticeable and obtrusive.
Please understand that this is a very old record - as such, one cannot expect the record to sound like a brand new, audiophile pressing! Some noise is inevitable - for best results, always properly clean your LPs before playing them.
The LP is an audiophile quality pressing (any collector of fine MFSL, half speeds, direct to discs, Japanese/UK pressings etc., can attest to the difference a quality pressing can make to an audio system).
