Description
Here's a very uncommon Christmas title Aretino 10" Record. They have the 3" hole in the center to accommodate the large center hub on the turntable platter of an Aretino brand Outside Horn Phonograph. Christmas titles are pretty hard to find on that label. This one is also and UNCLE JOSH one, titled: "Uncle Josh Plays Santa Claus", Laughing Story by Cal Stewart. The other side of the record is called "Let's Take An Old Fashioned Walk", sung by Ada Jones and Billy Murray with Orchestra. The condition of the record is quite good and doesn't show much wear. Even though this record was designed to be played on an Aretino brand wind-up phonograph, you could also play it on a regular 78 RPM record player as long as you properly center the record on it. It's made to be played with the steel needles that are used on most wind-up phonographs (other than Edison or Pathe' machines, which use their own diamond or sapphire styli and vibrate vertical rather than laterally).
