Aretha Franklin - Lot of 14 UK Original 7" Singles
This is a fantastic collection of UK original Aretha Franklin Atlantic 7" Singles. They date from 1967-1971. They all have red Atlantic labels. The condition is generally really nice indeed. The majority come with their original plain green "wavy-cut" company paper sleeves. There are some classic 1960's Soul singles in this lot. Don't miss out!

1. I Never Loved A Man (The Way I Love You)/ Do Right Woman-Do Right Man (Atlantic 584084 UK 7" 1967) UK original pressing. It has 1st press A-1/ B-2 matrix stampers. It has a 3-pronged push-out centre. It comes complete with its original company paper sleeve - which is in very nice condition. Vinyl: Just some light to mild sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light. VG+ condition. Plays VG+ to Near Excellent. There is a very small pen line on the A-side label. Otherwise the labels are nice and clean and show mild to moderate spindle wear.
2. Respect/ Save Me (Atlantic 584115 UK 7" 1967) UK original pressing. It has 1st press A-1/ B-1 matrix stampers. It has a 3-pronged push-out centre. It comes complete with its original company paper sleeve - which is in very nice condition. Vinyl: Just some mild sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light, & a couple of tiny hairline marks. VG condition. Plays VG+ to Near Excellent. There is a very small pen line on the A-side label. Otherwise the labels are nice and clean and show mild to moderate spindle wear.
3. (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction/ Chain Of Fools (Atlantic 584157 UK 7" 1967) UK original pressing. It has 1st press A-2/ B-2 matrix stampers. It has a solid centre. It comes complete with its original company paper sleeve - which is in very nice condition. Vinyl: Just some light to mild sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light. VG++ condition. Plays Near Excellent overall. The labels are lovely and clean and show mild spindle wear only.

14. Bridge Over Troubled Water/ A Brand New Me (Atlantic 2091-090 UK 7" 1971) UK original pressing. It has 1st press A-1/ B-1 matrix stampers. It has a large centre hole. It comes complete with its original 3-pronged plastic removable centre. It has its original company paper sleeve. This has faded on one side. Vinyl: Just some very light sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light, & some very minor pressing marks. Very NEAR EX condition. Plays Near Excellent to Excellent. The A-side label has faded. The B-side label is nice and clean.
>> Grading Information All grading is very strict & adheres to 'Record Collector' specifications. However, I have fine tuned them & they are explained below. All vinyl is examined closely under a strong light & play tested.
MINT Condition = As good as a copy you would buy from a shop, immaculate!
NEAR MINT Condition = Very nearly mint just slightly under, maybe a couple of very, very light paper sleeve scuffs that can only be seen under strong light. SOME WOULD CLASS THIS AS MINT. This disc has been played a couple of times at most. Cover is virtually perfect - very minimal wear only.
EX Condition = A clean & tidy copy that shows virtually no defects. Maybe one or two light needle scuffs or light sleeve removal marks that can only be seen under strong light. There will be no scratches. Play will be near perfect with no distortion. Cover will be very nice with maybe very minimal creasing, ringwear or edgewear.
NEAR EX Condition = You can tell this record has been played a few times but it has been well cared for. There will be minor surface marks only; that barely detract from the sound quality. Cover may have slight creasing or ringwear. A very serviceable copy that you will be pleased with.
VG Condition = A well played but serviceable copy. There will be a few marks on the vinyl, but they won't be nasty scratches, just relatively light needle scuffs and sleeve removal marks, they will be noticeable but won't detract from play too much. Cover will show signs of storage/ ageing, e.g., creasing, slight folding, spinewear, ringwear or sticker tears. The record will not be trashed!!

Please note that these prices are as a general guideline only. For example: Double LPs are classed as two LPs. Also posters, inserts, etc.. can increase postage costs. One parcel must not exceed 2kg (approximately 4-6 LPS).
All records will be sent in high quality vinyl mailers with at least two card stiffeners either side of the LP or 7". I use a cruciform box for larger orders (4-6 LPs). All parcels will be marked "Fragile" and dispatch time will generally be between 1-3 days after payment.
I will also remove the vinyl from the sleeve & place them in a re-sealable polythene sleeve. In order to prevent seam splits. Depending on the inner sleeve; I often remove the vinyl from the inner sleeve & place it in a separate plain paper, or polythene-lined, plain inner sleeve. I am very conscientious and careful when packaging your LP(s).
I consider my postage & packaging costs to be very transparent & very fair. Packaging costs will generally be between £0.80 to £1.50. I am not adding any further costs for handling, etc...
