Please wait for the video picture to load.Click the arrow, and click again, and you can hear about 90 seconds of the music.Be aware,it is only recorded by me holding my digital camera next to one of my speakers,so the record will sound better than this sample.

DESCRIPTION & TITLE.

Side 1:Home Made Wine.

Side 2:The Chase.

THIS IS NOT THE ONE I HAVE JUST HAD LISTED,I HAD 2 OF THESE,I HAVE TAKEN MORE SCANS OF THIS RECORD,THEY ARE THE ACTUAL RECORD AND SLEEVE SHOWN WITH THIS LISTING.I HAVE USED THE PREVIOUS DESCRIPTION,AND CHANGED RELEVANT DETAILS.THIS IS THE BETTER RECORD OF THE TWO.

PLEASE NOTE,THE VIDEO IS OF THE PREVIOUS RECORD,IT IS ONLY INTENDED TO GIVE A TASTE OF THE MUSICAL GENRE,AS I WAS UNSURE TO LIST AS PUNK,METAL OR WHAT.SOUND IS TAKEN FROM SIDE ONE.ALSO,SIDE TWO REMINDS ME A LITTLE OF IRON MAIDEN,ONE OF THEIR MORE MELLOW TRACKS ON THEIR 1ST ALBUM,I THINK IT WAS CALLED REMEMBER TOMORROW,IT IS LIKE HEAVY METAL BUT DOING A MORE SENSITIVE TRACK,NOT BALLISTIC HEAD BANGING STUFF.

I assume this is a private pressing. The Hand Scratched Matrix Numbers Are:

Side A;SJP 805A1  EG   LYN  70  85(OR IT COULD BE 55,IT LOOKS LIKE A 5 SCRATCHED DIRECTLY BENEATH AN 8)     BIBO.

Side B;DB   SJP-805 B3  EG   LYN -7056.

Please look this record up on Google,it is extremely rare,I was lucky enough to find it at a car bootsale, along with a Heavy Metal collection.

Here is one little snippet I found about this record:

A.R.C. Rock Band – Home

Made Wine

(Rock ’79)

Recording for the same label as

Slender Thread (and no other),

this band (also known as Arc, but

not the same as the band above)

made this roughshod single

(pretty much punk, with a bit of a

boogie) and nothing else, b-side

to the affair being clunky, bluesy

quasi-ballad The Chase, which

despite its mellow meander, plays

more by NWOBHM rules than the

boozy title track.

Market Value $120

The Above information I found on the internet, but a very kind collector who was bidding purely for the sleeve gave me the following advise/information,it really was kind,as i suspect he intends to make another bid:

The record is very rare (possibly 200 copies only). The information you posted on your auction listing is not accurate so you might want to remove it.
The band were from Lincoln and this was their only release. It is a private pressing and is not on the same label as the Slender thread single (the similar record label name on these 2 singles was pure coincidence).
The record is associated with both punk and NWOBHM genres which makes it doubly collectable. It is documented in a recent book called 45 Revolutions (by Mario Panciera) and also in the NWOBHM encyclopedia by Malc MacMillan. There was another NWOBHM band called Arc but they were totally unrelated to the A.R.C. Rock Band. I have not yet had a good look at the sites kindly suggested to me,I had a brief look, and still found no details.I'll keep you posted.Thankyou to the avid collector who kindly gave me this advise and information.

This is no doubt a very rare record

CONDITION:

VINYL:

Excellent+.Glossy Vinyl,No deep scratches.Nothing but slight occational paper marks, really lovely, and plays perfectly.for such a hard to find record,it won't get much better than this.Has a little static dust, but basically,no problems with the Vinyl.

LABELS:

Excellent+,so clean, and free from spindle marks,I don't think this record has had many plays ever.

SLEEVE:

Sleeve is made from 1 piece of paper, folded around 3 inches on the inside and stapled to form a flap which holds the innersleeve and the record inside. Then it forms a gatefold sleeve to make a front and back.Sleeve is graded as Excellent, and easily excellent as although it has a few grubby marks,it is in fine shape for a fragile sleeve,as I think that the scan shows well.Perfectly clean on the inside, and although there are 3 dirty marks on the front, and a hint of ringmark on the rear,it is a 28 year old piece of thick paper,so it has fared quite well.

Inner sleeve.Excellent, plain white with a slight Greeseproof paper texture,no splits,no scribbles.
