Description
For auction is ARCHIE SHEPP's "Four for Trane" on IMPUSE A-71 MONO, 1964, with Van Gelder stamp. The vinyl is VG+ or better, it has been machine-cleaned and played. Sounds great. This record has WHITE PROMO labels. The sleeve is VG+ or better. It has a radio station catalogue sticker on the front left corner of the cover. The photos are of the exact record up for bids. Look before you bid, ask if you want any additional info or pics. No reserve, starts at $15.
I was left over 5000 old jazz albums from a friend who passed away. They are not catalogued nor are they even organized. I'll be going through them a little bit at a time and putting them up for auction. I have one of those cleaning machines and I listen to at least part of every cleaned record. Everything I've listened to "sounds great", and I do mean "great". No pops, hisses, skips, etc. Great sound. Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale. As for grading, I've reviewed generally accepted guidelines, and I think my grades on the sleeves and the vinyl are conservative. Most everything I've looked at so far is "VG+" or better. If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically.
