I HAVE JUST BOUGHT A LARGE AMOUNT OF AN OLD WAREHOUSE STOCK OF MANY DIY PUNK / MINIMAL SYNTH / INDUSTRIAL / POST PUNK / MESSTHETICS / H2D / HYPED TO DEATH / HOMEWORK / TEENLINE TYPE ITEMS, ALL ARE IN AN UNPLAYED CONDITION !!!! SO KEEP WATCHING MY AUCTIONS !
This is a VERY RARE UK ARCADIA (DURAN DURAN) 2 ONE SIDED TEST PRESSINGS from 1985. UNPLAYED ONE SIDED TEST PRESSINGS AND A MUST !!!.
These are the rare TEST PRESSINGS for the 1985 single ELECTION DAY, on 2 12"'s one contains Election Day (The Consensus Mix) on side A. and a tone on the other side, while the other 12" TEST PRESSING contains the songs: Election Day / She's Moody And Grey, She's Mean And She's Restless on side 1 and a tone on side 2.
These 12" TEST PRESSINGS were pressed by Parlophone records, here are the matrices:
DISC 1: SIDE A: 12 NSRA 1A-1U-1-1- MASTERDISK all machine stamped and 12-NSR-A1 and RL etched. SIDE B: TONE ONLY and machine stamped : LPFB 12.
DISC 2: SIDE A: 12 NSRA 1 B-1U-1-1-1 mchine stmaped and 12-NSR-B1 etched. SIDE B: TONE ONLY and machine stamped : LPFB 12.
This copy was a store / warehouse stock and is UNPLAYED !!!
This is a must for any ARCADIA / DURAN DURAN collector and the likelihood of another one coming up for sale is very slim !!!
One of the white die cut sleevs also carried the writting of : 12 NSRA 1B-1U and stamped 17 oct 1985
The CONDITION of BOTH VINYLS are MINT (UNPLAYED !!!!)
DON'T LET THIS RARE ARCADIA / DURAN DURAN 2 ONE SIDED TEST PRESSINGS get away as you will never see another and especially not in this condition.
