SCARE AND PERMANTLY OUT-OF-PRINT, 2004 EU/UK original 10-track vinyl LP album - This is the seminal debut album from Montreal-based collective; includes the classic hits 'Laika', 'Power Cut', 'Wake Up' and 'Rebellion [Lies]' presented in gatefold picture sleeve.

This set remains sealed from new in the original manufactur's shrink wrap, and therefore mint and unplayed (shop stock)!. The shrink wrap is still intact with no tears, and the jacket is in excellent condition with no bent corners, cuts, ring wears, creases, seams or other flaws. An absolutely stunning copy. See the images to the bottom of the page. Any visible white spots are shine from the lighting and are NOT defects.

Prices for this original 2004 stone cold mind factory sealed of “ARCADE FIRE – Funeral” european gatefold LP pressing continue to rise, even before it was reissued on vinyl by Merge Records US label in 2009. The second pressing (on 180-gram vinyl, includes a digital download coupon) was issued to meet fans' demands and satisfy the huge market for this remarkable recording but it is this 1st issue that fetches high prices when turn up. It was pressed up in unknown small vinyl quantities, so it is only going to go up in value-great investment. To find this 8 years old LP in pristine/factory sealed condition (crisp corners, no cuts, no seam splits) like it just came off the factory shelf, almost beggars belief. So do your research and ask the right question before you buy this.
