Hi, my name is Brian and I have been collecting vinyl for many years. My main interest has been PROGRESSIVE especially the VERTIGO SWIRL/SPIRAL LABEL, reputed to be the most collectable label in the world?
I have finally finished my SWIRL collection of over 160 albums of which most are UK pressings, and now I am going to SELL them ( I must be mad ). I have been quite fussy about the QUALITY, CONDITION and they must be the VERY FIRST PRESSINGS. The latter has been the hardest to decipher and has had me buying and selling many copies of the same album to achieve this, and I almost have with these collectable gems.
I am not and have never been a 'dealer' by profession, but I have always given honest descriptions and lots of clear photo's of any items I have sold. I do know how disappointing it is when you open that package and the item has been over sold with expressions such as "AWESOME" etc when the item is only in EX- condition or worse. If you are in anyway disappointed with an item from me you are most welcome to return it with a FULL REFUND, providing it is an honest and just mistake by myself as I believe in my descriptions.

For sale here is --APHRODITES CHILD--666--(THE APOCALYPS OF JOHN, 13/18) UK ORIGINAL VERY FIRST PRESSING WITH VERY FIRST PRESSING SLEEVE,1972, stereo 6673 001 The 87th of 87 UK pressings on this label. MORE WILL FOLLOW!
SLEEVE.....GATEFOLD and LAMINATED. It is in TOP condition showing very little wear. It is a GENUINE VERY FIRST PRESSING. It is very flat and square. The colours are very strong and vibrant LIKE NEW. The bottom edge is in N/MINT condition with NO wear. The top edge is in N/MINTcondition. The front of the sleeve is in fantastic EX++ condition, NO UNWANTED WRITING, NO STICKER TEARS, NO STICKERS, NO RING-WEAR AND NO STAINING, the back of the sleve is in the same superb condition. The opening edges are in lovely condition with no tears and no feathering. The spine has absolute minimal wear with fully ledgable text, just a little fadeing, Realy nice. The inside gatefold is in fantastic condition and is clean and bright and SUPERB N/MINT. The only other sign of wear is to the very very tips of the corners and is absolute minimal. This album comes with BOTH ORIGINAL VERY FIRST PRESSING SWIRL INNER SLEEVES, WITH CONSECUTIVE NUMBERS, PARTICULAR TO THE RELEASE in excellent condition . All in all this is in wonderful condition for a 35 year old sleeve. EX++.
LABELS.....Both A and B-side labels on both albums are N/MINT with only a few very light spindle marks on each side. STUNNING!!
VINYL....Both sides of both of these fantastic albums still have their JUST PRESSED deep black shine. When you hold these albums in the very brightest of lights you can hardly even see very few, light surface hair lines which are very light and mostly caused by removal and replacement in and out of the inner sleeve, there are no nasty marks or scratches. In normal daylight this album is PRISTINE. Both sides play WITHOUT SCRATCHES, CLICKS OR JUMPS. I have played this album on my very sensitive and revealing LINN SONDEK and the sound is UN-WORN, it is full and crisp there is NO loss of sound quality at all, wonderful sound stage and stereo seperation. There are a very small amount of dust crackles that can be heard only in the very quiet parts of the music or between trcks, but a professional clean should sort out most of that.This is a superb album in the most wonderful of conditions. These HEAVY VINYL origional pressings are second to none. This really is a top copy that any collector would be delighted to add to their collection, a real KEEPER .EX++/N/MINTvery nice!!
HARD TO FIND IN ANY CONDITION. SUPER RARE LIKE THIS. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPOINTED.
