"Out From The Void" Endangered Musik Records RARE Picture Sleeve Import 7" Vinyl Anachro Punk 45 Extended Play! No Reserve!
Antisect - "Out From The Void" Endangered Musik Records (UK) EDR 4 from 1985. Super Hard to find Vinyl Picture Sleeve 45 EP of this seminal Anachro-Punk / Crust band featuring John Bryson, Pete Lyons and Pete Pauluskiewicz. Original pressing on the Endangered Musik label. If the discussion is about 80's Crust then Antisect is, maybe, THE band. And if there is a special category for the greatest of the great Crust EPs then "Out from the Void" is one of the records that belong. It is one of the records that set the standards for metal influenced Crust, as Amebix, Hellbastard, Deviated Instinct, Concrete Sox, Heresy and others did. This classic piece was released in 1985 by Endangered Music, (EDR 4) and was the epitomy of crust in its beginning as a genre. Antisect had already released the In Darkness There Is No Choise LP (1983, Spiderleg Recordings), a great record with anarchopunk / hardore influences but "Out of the Void" is more into what later was called crust. Great stuff!
In nice condition! The Black and White glossy Picture sleeve shows some light wear and wrinkling from storage but should still rate at least a strong VG and possibly even VG+. Please note - any marks, streaks or blotches that you may see which are not mentioned in the write up are scanner artifacts, not defects in the record cover... I will list any actual defects! The vinyl itself is also nice. There are a few slight scuffs if you really look close (and have good eyes...) but think that these were probably just caused by the sleeve. I doubt that the record was played much if at all as there are no spindle trails on the labels. I would say that the vinyl easily rates at least VG+ if not better! The labels are also imaculate and would easily rate Near Mint!

Records are graded to the best of my ability to Goldmine Visual standards. If you are not familiar with this grading system (or even if you think you are!), please check it out before bidding I have summarized the important (i.e. I think everyone knows what Mint means) points below in Goldmine's words:
Very Good Plus (VG+): Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK.
Very Good (VG): Surface noise will be evident upon playing,... Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.
I stand by my grades but would like us to be on the same page so no problems arise. I have been selling Vintage Vinyl for over eleven years on the net and I can count the returns I've had on one hand so I believe my grading is fair and accurate. One important note, I try to grade to these Goldmine guides as best as I can understand and apply them. This gives us both a written standard to go by rather than having to guess. But.... it also means that I don't issue refunds over differences of opinion in grading i.e. "That's not MY idea of a VG record!" - I don't know what your standards are and, as such, can't grade to them. I guarantee that items I sell will meet my description, nothing more or less! If you are not satisfied that a purchase meets my description, I will do what I can to make it right if you give me the chance and work with me! Please feel free to check my feedback.
