ANTHRAX - Spreading the Disease. This is an original 1985 pressing of this record. The album cover was autographed in person by all the members of the band (Joey Belladonna, Scott Ian, Charlie Benante, Frankie Bello and Dan Spitz) at an in store signing on 6/1/87 I met them, had them sign this and saw them perform live that night. The original shrinkwrap was removed and replaced after they signed it - meaning the signatures are on the jacket itself and not the plastic. The shrinkwrap also includes the original sticker promoting the release that says "this record contains NOT one hit single" Scott has added "NOT!" and Dan has added "ADI rules!" The album itself is in nice condition, no skips. The lyric sleeve is included but split on all 3 seams. There is no ring wear at all on the front or back jacket. It is very bright and clear. Might look cloudy due to the plasticwrap. This is an awesome piece of old school thrash metal history and would look great framed on your wall! A must have for any true Anthrax fanatic!

On Jul-13-11 at 18:30:13 PDT, seller added the following information:Upon a requested close inspection I would like to add that the album itself has a few scratches - a couple are even an inch or more long, however the record does NOT skip at all. There are a lot of "pops" and "crackles" but a good cleaning which this 26 year old album has never had could probably elliminate some of that. I just spun the entire album and it sounds great to me. Also included is a photo copy of the original newspaper add for the show thy playedthat night.
