Description

  An original US 1966 2nd Stereo repress of Anthony Williams - Spring on the blue & white Blue Note label, BST 84216
This is a label variant with Liberty Records Inc and has VAN GELDER stamped both sides in the deadwax and no Plastylite P. 
Degritter cleaned, the vinyl is spotlessly clean with a deep lustre and a couple of light blemishes/patchy areas plus one or two very faint scuffs. It sits flat on the turntable with clean labels and spindle holes. Graded VG+ but plays closer to EX .
Playback reveals a bold and vibrant sound, crisp, tight and clear with excellent stereo separation.  It plays through beautifully with some low background noise on the run in which quickly subsides and does not spoil the music - listen to clip! No jumping, sticking or skating - the vinyl plays as it should and is extremely enjoyable.
The outer sleeve is solid and sturdy but with shelfwear/ light flaking to both seams and a 10 cm split to the top seam. Still doing the job though with no writing, stains, tears or ugly tape repairs.
A lovely original copy, fully cleaned & tested, to own, play and enjoy.
The record will be sent separated out in an archival outer sleeve to prevent transit splits.
