Anthony Phillips and Harry Williamson ~ “The Anthem From Tarka / The Rising Spring”. PRT / EMI EMI 2233 Australia 1988.
This is an extremely rare single!. The UK version of this single turns up occasionally, but the Australian version is just an incredible rarity. The Australian release didn’t come in a picture sleeve, just the generic purple EMI sleeve that is present with this copy. Someone has added the Artist’s names and the title to one side of the sleeve in biro. There is also a handwritten date of 31/06/89 in blue biro on the A side. This is curious as although this is clearly a typo, the record was originally released in 1988!
Of all Anthony Phillips singles , in my view this is about the rarest. I’ve come across more copies of all the other single in the last 25 – 30 years than this one. Incredible rarity!

Record: Strong NM to M
Stunning and pretty much a Mint copy, any wear is pretty much imperceptible.
The label has a date written on one side.
