ANTHONY ORTEGA "A MAN AND HIS HORNS" LP.  On HERALD Records, HLP 0101.  Extremely rare 1956 MONO 12" LP, double sided DEEP GROOVE with the classic bright pink labels with black lettering.  Heavy vinyl, thick cardboard jacket.  The personnel:  Anthony Ortega/alto sax, tenor sax, baritone sax, flute, clarinet, bass clarinet; Hank Jones/piano; Addison Farmer/bass; Ed Thigpen/drums.  The vinyl is in super glossy VG+ condition.  The thick cardboard cover is in VG shape, still displays nicely.  There is a faint tape stain along three edges.  Song titles underlined in ballpoint pen in liner notes section on back.  Small # ink stamp on back at top right corner.  Faint age discoloration and some very light moisture staining on back.  NO seam splits, NO cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking.  The songs are:  Happy Day; Hand Full of Stars; Titoro; Memories of Spring; They All Laughed; We'll Be Together Again; Birdwatcher; Strolling Through the Casbah.
