Please keep in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over +22,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. RARE ~ CLEAN 1971 OHR Records German UNDERGROUND Psych artifact not seen very often: "STORMY HEAVENS"
The 1st 1971 LP by 'Anima-Sound' is way-way-out, very spontaneous music, close to extreme spattering of avant-garde, pushing traditional boundaries, developing experimental concepts in the then pioneering (1971) 'Krautrock' scene.
Filled with imaginative acid-sound effects mixed with extreme vocal inflections, screams, groans, weird sounds and lots of bass and percussion. Paul And Limpe Fuchs' ("Anima Sound" masterminds) were more primitive, and the goal, in Limpe's own words, has always been to capture "the resonance of the location where the performance takes place" -- in this albums case, their kosmische smorgasbord was recorded in a 1000-year old cottage displaying an extremely uncompromising experimental array of strangeness,
"STORMY HEAVENS" featured a mix of blowing sound gadgets, percussion, nonsensical vocals and a stockpile of homemade instruments.
As the album begins, you hear heavy wind/rain along with repeated bleating of a sheep; a fitting start for venturing into no-man's-land, a place where anything, absolutely anything, can happen. After all, it's 1971, and the future is an unwritten page; there is percussion, a peculiar wind blast, and a bass line that at times feels Eastern infused, yet is anything but conventional; and quite the opposite.
"Show Mää Show" gradually builds an Indian atmosphere, and the wind instruments evoke the chaotic bustle of streets packed with traffic, people, car beeping, and even animals.
Elsewhere, "It Loves Want to Have Done It" has sitar, yet there are more pieces of this puzzle ongoing in a work-in-progress short track whose final form depends on these artists putting it all together.
"Feel Like a Bone" continues with percussion & a trumpet, but the melody has slipped away; one can see it dissipating like smoke in the sky, losing all shape. Surpassing even the wildest moments of Can, when then a primal scream emerges as a liberating experience.
"How to Dream" seems to serve as a vehicle for Gilli Smith's (GonG) cosmic whispers, like a caravan venturing into the desert where canteens leak and the destination remains uncertain, for there are no maps.
However, the mystery is revealed upon learning that Paul Fuchs and his wife, Limpe Fuchs, who were Anima as multifaceted artists inventing their own instruments. "The Weather" caps off this unique experience and is interesting for its interplay between percussion and that peculiar- sounding bass-like instrument, a feature that holds real value.
