Amazing record by Angel Pocho Gatti, which is probably the most original jazz piano player from Italy, together with Tullio Gallo (trumpet & fluegenhorn) also including Pino Presti (Augusto Martelli funky bass player) and Leonello Bionda (Basso-Valdambrini 5tet drummer). Unbelievable jazz session with a kinda British hippie feeling, the whole record is just great including the two monster hypnotic modal jazz WARM BLOOD (piano solo is too die!) and SMALL NOSE (with psychedelic organ). Rest of the Lp is just Milan jazz society meets London beat scene with loads of killer hippie funk lounge beat tracks like the pounding beat laden funk NONE OF THAT, the moody hip-hoppy intro of AMPHIBIUS, the super groovy KPM hammond jazz beat YESTERNIGHT, the funky tittyshaker HAPPY YEAR (with twangy beat guitar solo), the hammond beat madness BEAT IS LIFE and so on... Listen! Ah, and copies are usually trashed, this is a beautiful one!
