Velvet Underground
ft Nico
Double Lp housed in a 1st press LAMINATED gatefold cover.
This was manufactured and distributed by Polydor records for MGM in the USA, where it was then imported to the UK.
The double set carries some 'heady' music from back in the days of Peace and Love-being released in 1967-it's quite trippy in places.
The cover is as iconic as the music and would frame very well as a piece of Pop Art.
I have just finished listening to both of the records all the way through and found some background noise-which is evident in the run-ins and in between songs, but once it get's going you really don't notice it.

The cover has some light discolouration around the edges as well as a small tear to the opening...BUT the iconic front image still shines out and the equally iconic inner image is even clearer :)
