FOR AUCTION THE VELVET UNDERGROUND & NICO US ORIGINAL STEREO LP ON VERVE RECORDS V6-5008 FROM 1967!!  VERSION 2 GHOST TORSO ON BACK COVERED BY THE BLACK RECALL STICKER               

  THE RECORD ITSELF IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION

THE COVER AND JACKET HAVE SOME ISSUES THE BANANA IS UN-PEALED ALTHOUGH THE STEM IS PARTLY MISSING THE  OTHER ORIGINAL YELLOW OVAL STICKERS LEFT UN PEALED AND ARE ALMOST ALWAYS MISSING THE SPINE IS IN GOOD CONDITION SOME CLEAR TAPE ON THE TOP OF THE BACK COVER OVERALL THERE IS WEAR AND SCUFFING BUT ALL IN ALL A GOOD EXAMPLE OF THIS CLASSIC.

This is the very hard to find TORSO variation with the censorship sticker. These are actually fewer in number than copies with the uncensored torso image.How many of these sticker do you see?? very few!  Like the Beatles infamous "butcher cover", the "BANANA COVER", as it was coined by the industry- Is coveted by collectors all around the world-due to extreme scarcity, and novelty, as well as historical significance of the particular title. This record has it all, and is possibly the first "gimmick" cover- not to mention it's early ties with artist ANDY WARHOL, whose art designs and works continue to increase in value as the years pass.
