Description

This is the 1956 Epic LP Chopin: Nocturnes vol. 1 played by Jan Smeterlin, LC 3151. The fragile cover drawing of lilies and fireflies is one of Warhol's finest.

There are three different versions regarding the colors in which the title 'Chopin: Nocturnes' is written:

Vol. 1: Blue letters (This auction)
Vol. 2: Green letters
The two LP's in one box: Red letters

Cover: Warhol cover in fine condition, front stil glossy, though a bit yellowed from age. Some minor wear & tear at corners and seams. Small cellophane tape at the back, and small writing.  

LP: slightly pops and crackles from age, still enjoyable to listen to this beautiful performance
