Description
This is Carlos Chavez's A Program of Mexican Music (Sponsored by the Museum of Modern Art), released on the Columbia label in 1949 and featuring the first record album cover by Andy Warhol. The record is in VG/VG condition, with split top and bottom seams (approximately 3/4 of the top seam and 1/2 of the bottom seam). The back of the cover also has a water stain on the lower left corner, as well as a neat circular bit of paper loss from a removed sticker. Still, the front cover looks nice and is in collectible condition. The vinyl has a small scratch that causes a repeat on one side; other than that the record plays well. Also included is the original program booklet, which has a small tear but is in generally nice condition. Shipping and handling costs in the U.S. are $4.00; insurance is an optional $2.00. I welcome overseas bidders and base shipping costs on first class rates, usually $15.00 for one LP to Europe or Japan. International bidders are responsible for customs costs. I'll ship the record after the payment clears. Happy bidding and good luck!
