Featuring Great and RARE Early Illustration Cover Art circa 1951/1952 by ANDY WARHOL!!!
This cover was previously unknown as a Warhol illustration.
I picked this up a while back recognizing this as a Warhol piece, but this was unverified and even as an lp was hard to find information on.
We now know that from Richard Forrest, who curated a showing of Warhol's album cover art in 2008 that this is a Warhol cover and is probably his 1st for RCA Victor and is now considered to be his 5th commissioned record cover!
The album was apparently also later reissued with a different cover, adding to the scarcity.

This is now considered to be at the top of the list of his rarest and most in-demand covers!!!

Condition:
Vinyl is in visual VG- (Very Good-) grade condition.
Cover shows light spotting and shelf wear. There is some evidence that this may have been a library copy with some paper peel marks on lower left hand corner area that look like they may have been remnants of a library checkout placeholder.
There is a top seam split that measures about 10 inches across from opening. There is a bottom seam split that also runs about the same length across from opening.
Back cover shows mild shelf/age wear with some adhesive residue towards the lower right hand corner (near spine)
