🎵 ORIGINAL 1971 UK PEGASUS FIRST PRESS – FOLK-ROCK CULT CLASSIC
Original UK first pressing of Andy Roberts – “Nina And The Dream Tree” on the legendary short-lived Pegasus label, catalogue PEG 5. A beautiful, clean Strong VG+/VG+ copy of one of the key early-70s UK singer-songwriter/folk-rock albums – notoriously hard to find this sharp.

📀 TRUE 1st PRESS AUDIO – CORRECT -U MATRICES

• Label: Pegasus – PEG 5

• Matrices: PEG 5 A-2U / PEG 5B-1U (with crossed-out CAS 1045 B-1U in the run-out)

• Classic Pegasus winged horse labels – blue day-sky on one side, white/grey variant on the other

Cut at EMI with the -U suffixes and the Charisma CAS number still lurking in the deadwax – exactly what serious collectors look for on this title.

🌿 CONDITION – EX/EX, BEAUTIFUL CLEAN COPY

• Sleeve: VG+ – Original UK E.J. Day laminated sleeve. Lovely deep black front with only light edge/corner wear and a few tiny laminate stress lines. Spine text fully legible. No writing, no tears, no splits. Rear text and artwork still crisp and clean.

• Vinyl: VG+ – Both sides retain a superb gloss with only a few ultra-light hairlines under strong light, nothing feelable. Labels are clean with just the faintest spindle traces. Plays beautifully: rich, open sound, quiet lead-ins and between tracks – a very strong example for this rare LP.

📜 ORIGINAL UK EMI INNER
Comes with its correct period poly-lined EMI “Patent No. 1,125,555 – Made In England” inner sleeve, in excellent, lightly age-toned condition. A nice original touch you don’t often see surviving with these.

Andy Roberts (Liverpool Scene / Plainsong) delivers a wonderfully atmospheric concept set here – warm, intimate vocals, intricate acoustic work and that dreamy early-70s UK folk-rock feel that Pegasus specialised in. Original Pegasus pressings were low-run and short-lived, making clean copies of Nina And The Dream Tree tough to track down.
If you collect UK folk, singer-songwriter and early-70s underground releases (Charisma, Island, Harvest etc.), this really belongs on your shelf – and in this condition it’s a keeper.
