This is an original 1969 UK First Original pressing of the genius Psych/Rock LP called ANDROMEDA by ANDROMEDA on RCA records. Many call this a Prog LP i don`t hold with that to me, its a Psych Rock LP and its also brilliant every track !
THE SLEEVE.
Condition is VERY GOOD+ .
The front laminated sleeve as sustained a few cracks to the spine and the bottom of the jacket double hit the pictures for close ups. There is slight damage to the corners but its still nice and bright and no unwanted handwriting anywhere on the item. The back of the LP jacket has some disscolouring and shows signs of age but in its defence it is 54 years old. There is slight laminate lift down the spine but you can still read the spinal writings again double click the pictures. No tares anywhere ! The original inner sleeve is also present and in good order.
THE VINYL. Condition is VERY GOOD +.
The record labels to both sides show spindle wear under close inspection but are lovely and clean double click the pictures. The vinyl to both sides has hairlines but there are no feelable problems at all. This is a very heavy slab of 1960s vinyl and back then this stuff was more durable than in any other decade. The vinyl still holds a high lustre sheen when tilted into the light .
I have enjoyed playing this LP for over 30 years and it plays outstandingly well. There are slight background noises when listening with an ultra critical ear but nothing so intrusive that it spoils the listeners enjoyment of this great LP. There is some incredible guitar work on here savagely fierce one moment, gentle the next, this album is so unrecognised and that`s wrong this LP one of the finest British Rock LPs ever and getting harder to find as the years tick by. If you are after a mint copy of Andromeda this is not for you. If you are after a perfectly acceptable ORIGINAL copy then this is that right here. Loads of life still left in this rare RARE album.
