Description

For auction is the ANDREW HILL TRIO's "So In Love," on Warwick W2002 Stereo, DG, 1960.

SOUND: NM/MINT

It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. The sound is outstanding. Overall, crystal clean, solid playback. There are a couple brief spots, with very minor surface noise. I only mention it for completeness, the other 98% is brilliant! You will be delighted with this playback!

VINYL: NM

The record was in the original, rice-paper, inner sleeve. It could not have been played much, because the vinyl is stunning! Visually, the vinyl is clean and newish-looking. No defects to report! The labels are deep-grooved. The label on side A is missing a little paper from the shield in the "coat of arms" design (looks like somebody actually tried to peel off the shield. Too bad, because the labels are otherwise gorgeous, very clean, with no other wear I can see, not even a spindle mark.

JACKET: VG+

Edges and spine are solid and in excellent condition. The corners, too, are very nice, with a little bump on the lower right. The front cover has a little missing paper across the bottom center. Otherwise, it's very clean and unmarked, with routine shelf-wear. The back cover is very clean and in excellent condition. There is a name in pen in the upper right.

The photos are of the exact record up for bids. Look before you bid, ask if you want any additional info or pics.

A rare record in brilliant condition! Plays wonderfully! No reserve, bidding starts at $45.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.

Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.

If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction. I'm not a collector, nor an audiophile, but I think they are desirable if you're into this kind of material.  Click "see other items" and thanks for looking!
