Don't let the album cover fool ya.   This is not punk rock !!

This is a rare Christian rock LP released in 1980 on the Canadian Tunesmith label.  The LP is titled Straight Shooter by Amaziah.

This LP was originally released in the UK in 1979 on the obscure Sonrise label ( copies have sold for up to $1,000.00 ! ).   From my knowledge, the original album was remixed for Tunesmith with a heavier sound.   Musically, this is British heavy guitar music with a psychedelic edge.   Cool organ and synth sounds.  The song "Way, Truth, Life" has a progressive edge.

The LP played very clean on my turntable.   The cover looks very good and is still in shrink-wrap  ( Some copies were released on red vinyl.  This is black vinyl ).

Does anyone know whatever happened to Amaziah ?
