This is the very rare

1/2 speed mastered LP

by

Gato Barbieri

titled

"Passion And Fire"

(A&M SP-9-3029)

It is from A&M's lesser known audiophile jazz series. Very few titles were done in this series, and they are real sleepers. It is half speed mastered from the original master tapes recorded by Rudy Van Gelder and pressed on Quiex vinyl.        

None of these have been on e-bay for a long time.

The record is in beautiful condition with no marks or scratches, even under intense light. The jacket is also very nice with no splits or promo holes. It has been professionally cleaned on a VPI 17 record cleaning machine.
