1972 Vinyl Double LP
EAT A PEACH
by
The Allman Brothers Band
In Excellent Condition
Excellent vinyl condition of the classic 1972 double album set “Eat A Peach”
by The Allman Brothers Band dedicated to the memory of the bands founding
member and legendary guitarist Duane Allman who was killed in a motorcycle
accident in 1971.
“Eat A Peach” is the third studio album from the band although half of the record
is of some of the last live recordings from Duane Allman. Considered a real favorite
by fans and critics alike, it’s a beautiful mix of rock, Southern blues and acoustic
guitar that made the album an immediate success and peaked at number four on
Billboard’s Top 200 Pop Albums chart. The album was later certified platinum and
remains a top seller in the band’s discography.
This is on the original Capricorn Records label with the catalog number STBO-94379,
it also has the gate-fold album jacket and Eat A Peach artwork play-list sheet, not
pictured here. Please note there is slight cover damage on the lower right hand corner.
