ORIGINAL 60s Dutch WILD MOD FREAKBEAT comp!!! Lot of OBSCURE stuff here:
- RAY BROOK and THE STEW "Somebody's Got To Do It" - FANTASTIC GROOVY 60s MOD RnB SOUL, FAST and very dancy with GREAT GROOVE!!!
- ST. JOHN and THE CREW "I'm A Man" (not cover, but their original) + "You Belong To Me" - MINDBLOWING WILD 60s MOD FREAKBEAT with very very LOUD FUZZ + organ!!!!! One of the best Dutch 60s FUZZ GARAGE bands!!! Both tracks are the REAL KILLERS and almost impossible to find on 7"! This Dutch holy grail 45 usually sells on ebay from $100 to $300.
- LES BAROQUES "For You" + "Love Is The Sun" - the only more known Dutch 60s band on this comp - GREAT 60s MOD FREAKBEAT!!!
- THE SECT "Mrs. Lovesick" - WILD and GROOVY 60s MOD FREAKBEAT with FUZZ guitar licks + horn section in background. 100% PURE MOD stuff!!!
- THE HONEST MEN "Baby" + "Cherie" - awsome 60s MOD BAROQUE PSYCH POP with COOL harmony vocals and nice arrangments!!! In late 60s early 70s THE HONEST MEN will evoluated in COOL ACID PROG PSYCH band.
- DEAN ALAN SET "Yeah-Yeah" - GROOVY 60s RnB FREAKBEAT with FANTASTIC Hammond organ leads, SOULY horn section, good and very dancy GROOVE, COOL vocal and GO GO GIRLS singing "Yeah Yeah"!!! MANIC stuff for WILD MOD DANCE party!!!
- JOHN KING SIZE RUSSEL "Jumpin' Like A Kangaroo" - WEIRD and GROOVY 60s JAZZY MOD FREAKBEAT with good GROOVE, horn section and WAH WAH guitar!!!!
- BRIAN "Give And Take" - not Dutch but Belgian GROOVY 60s MOD SOUL RnB with LOUD rhythm and good GROOVE + SOULY horn section!!!
- ROEK'S FAMILY "Giddy Up A Ding Dong" - MANIC ROCKIN' RnB with very FAST rhythm and horn section + COOL sax leads!!!
1967 or 1968, Turnette (tiny lable!), original Dutch pressing. Record and laminated flipback sleeve are in NEAR MINT condition!!! You simply won't find a better copy.
