ALICE COOPER Pretties For You 1970 Warner US 1st Reissue WS 1840 1A/1B Shock
Pretties For You is the 1969 debut from Alice Cooper, produced by Frank Zappa and originally issued on Straight Records before Warner Bros. absorbed the catalog. The album captures the band’s early psychedelic and experimental phase prior to their transition into the heavier shock rock sound of the early 1970s.
Tracks such as “Reflected,” “Levity Ball,” and “Fields Of Regret” showcase the group’s off-kilter structures, garage-psych textures, and theatrical sensibility that would later define the band’s identity.
This is a 1970 U.S. 1st reissue pressing on the solid green Warner Bros. label with WB shield logo, catalog WS 1840. Gatefold jacket. Original Warner Bros. inner sleeve included.
