Artist: Slimane Azem
Tracks: Idhrimen, Pts 1-2
Very nice, and uncommon, Algerian disc from ca. 1951 with mandole-like instrument intro/taxim, then small Algerian orchestra (strings, percussion) and vocal by Azem (1918-1983). Azem was born in the historic region of kabylia in northern Algeria and this is a "chant Kabyle."
Condition: EE- (great)
