Description

HMV K-4252

Artist: Cheikh Larbi Bensari and orchestra

Titles: Touchiat Kebira de Telemcen

Condition: EE+ (terrific)

So hard to find records by Cheikh Larbi - master of Arab-Andalusian music of North Africa. He was already in his 60s when he recorded this with his orchestra in 1929, in Algiers. This is one long instrumental piece for his group, with flute, mandole, etc.

Please check my additional listings. I'll be listing some very interesting and rare international/ethnic discs over the next few weeks.
