Very earliest FIRST PRESSING!!
“Red Hot From Alex”.
Up for auction is this super Rare Alexis Korner and Blues Incorporated. Blues at its very best and the only way it should be played - from the Master.
This album has of course been played and shows some light indiscretions both to the outer cover and the vinyl. BUT, I must stress that these anomalies are only slight and the sounds are quite superb. Just quite Brilliant.
COVER: Slight graze in the white area of the front cover and slight wrinkle in the laminate at the opening. Rear of cover is very good indeed. Totally intact. No tears. No writing or splits.
VINYL: Just a couple of light scuffs or faint stylus marks are present which do not affect the superb quality of play. Definitely nothing ugly or feelable. Still retains its just pressed glossy sheen and is perfectly flat with no warps, skips or jumps. Graded: a very strong Excellent.
LABELS: Near perfect. No spindle trails. No writing.
MATRIX NUMBERS: SIDE ONE: TRA 117A
SIDE TWO: TRA 117B
INNER SLEEVE: Excellent.
AUDIO: Truly superb MONO sounds with just an odd crackle here and there. Nothing too obtrusive. Otherwise true Blues at its very best.
To sum up. This album is of course not mint, but is still deserving of a good home and should not be ignored, if only for its rarity value alone. But forget all that nonsense, the sounds are superb and truly classic. ALEXIS KORNER at his very best. A MUST HAVE ITEM!! Do NOT let this one get away!!
This rare album does not surface very often, so don’t miss out. Grab yourself a large slice of great musical history - and enjoy!!
