Description
This is an original pressing stereo copy of the rare, historic and wonderful LP by Albert King entitled "Born Under A Bad Sign" released as Stax LP #S723 in 1967. This LP combined the fluid singing and guitar playing of a blues giant (literally) with the Stax house band of Booker T. & the MGs and the Memphis Horns. This record influenced Clapton, Page, Bloomfield and every other white blues luminary in the 1960s. The record looks shiny black and mint and plays a very strong VG+. It has the original Stax label with the stack of records, not the later design. The cover still has about 50% of the shrink wrap still on it (the red pens on the picture show how much is left; shrink wrap is to the left of the pens on the front cover pic while the back has considerably more) and has no seam splits. There is the slightest mark (a mark and not residue) over the 'T' in Albert's first name on the front where a price sticker once was.
Buyer agrees to add $4 for Media Mail in the US and Canada (or can opt for $9 for Priority Mail in the US) or $16 for overseas airpost (bidders from Italy should write first for additional charges). The LP will go out very soon after PayPal payment arrives. Thanks for looking and please write if you have any questions.
