From a well-kept collection – don’t miss this one! The record is unmarked and my highest grade of near mint.
It’s an original USA issue he recorded in August 26/27/28, 1969 issued on Impuse. NOT a reissue of any sort.
The Gatefold Sleeve. This is covered in a PVC sleeve with clear taped edges for protection. However, to prevent any damage to the sleeve in removing it, I am leaving this on.
Ayler's last album -- and one that shows perfectly the kind of stylistic and emotional struggle he was going through in the final years of his life. (He sadly died the following year – 1970)
