Description
Up for BIN or best offer consideration is an ultra rare true original pressing of Albert Ayler's iconic Spritual Unity LP on ESP-DISK. Deadwax numbers on the a-side: ESP 1002 A. Deadwax numbers on the b-side: ESPM1002 B. Earmarks are on both sides of the deadwax too which fully denotes this early mono pressing. Labels are as pictured.
This is a mightily rare item, first time we've ever had it in 30 years of business!
***Disc grades STRONG VG with light scuffs throughout which are predominantly from storage. The disc has scuffs which can be seen under the bright light (as pictured in our listing). There are NO DEEP SCRATCHES that can be felt with a finger.
***Disc plays as it grades, STRONG VG: that means that any surface noise is well 2nd to the music itself but at the scuffier parts of the disc there is some low-level noise. It's mentionable but the disc is still plenty listenable for some/many. No audio clips available at this time.
***Cover grades on the lesser end of VG+ with consistent light wear from storage and aging, overall it's still in pretty nice condition with no major defects and no seam splits. See pictures for more details.
