Description
Albert Ayler: Spirits, DANISH Debut Records, 1964. His second LP for the danish Debut lbl. Debut 146. Ultra rare as you know. Cover is VG(+) to VG+, some paper missing on back spine, though it’s not split because of the way it’s made, see pics. Small tear in upper right corner, on front paste-on. Back cover is nice, light browning at edges. The small paste on info-sticker has a tear, not affecting the printing. Overall a very presentable cover, it’s major issue being the back spine. Upper and lower spines have light wear only and are unsplit. DISC is VG+, with some light hairlines only, mainly one side one. Track 2 side 1 has some light clicks in one passage, nothing very disturbing. Rest of the album plays excellent with great soundquality, minimal noise in selected passages – you can expect this on just about every copy, due to the quiet bass-solo passages. Overall a nice copy of an ultra rare jazz LP.
GRADINGS
I have ten years of experience of selling vintage vinyl. I aim at selling top quality LPs only. Gradings are on the M/ EX/VG+/VG scale. I will rarely I sell LPs less than VG+, unless of considerable rarity.
MINT- is superb, almost like new. No marks, scratches, clicks, noise, or anything else.
EX is also VERY nice, 2-3 light marks perhaps, no disturbing noise, great sound quality.
VG+, a nice player, but probably has some visual impairments, and some clicks or light noise in places; always see the individual description.
VG: Rarely put of for sale, an ok copy, but always see the individual description.
PLAYGRADING
There's no guessing about condition from visual look. The visual look of a record is very important, but it only tells part of the truth. Therefore I playgrade and carefully check all my offered LPs.
SHIPPING
I ship in strong, brand new cruciform shipping boxes with padding inside. The boxes are slightly bigger than the normal LP-size, thereby providing good protection of corners and edges. I remove LPs from sleeves, in order to prevent seam-splits on transit. IF YOU HAVE INDIVIDUAL REQUIREMENTS regarding shipping, I will always do my best to coorporate.
The shipping qoutes are for 'regular' LPs. If an LP is extra heavy and cannot be shipped at the normal rate I have made the note 'Heavy LP, ships at the price of 2'.
