Visual Condition 

The records are in Very Good condition, no scratches, three of the sides have a couple of light scuffs and a few paper scratches, the discs have a high sheen. The labels are bright and clean there are no stickers or writing,  there are only 10 spindle marks. The records have not been cleaned with any mechanical or chemical cleaners.  I only use an anti- static cloth prior to checking their condition under halogen lights or bright sunshine. Please remember that these are 36 year old first issue record sets.

The Box

The boxes are in Good condition, there are no tears, writing, stains, stickers. Volume 1 has a repaired split to lid, little light rubs.

The Inners / Insert

The inserts and dust covers are the originals in NearMint condition.

Visual        Virtually flawless, there should not be any scratches or scuffs on the playing surface of the record, may have the occasional spindle mark on the label.

Sleeve          Only the very lightest of wear or ageing to the sleeve. The art work will be very close to perfect.

89-85           Excellent, EX,

Visual         Only the very lightest of marks and,  or paper scratches with no other damage to the playing surface of the record. May have a few spindle marks on the label.

Sleeve          Only light wear to the sleeve i.e. Very light ringing, very small edge creases, very minor discolouration and may have promotion stickers attached.

Visual       There will be progressively more marking, but this will only be superficial.

Sleeve        Obvious ring wear, edge creasing, scuffs and may have price / catalogue labels attached or small neat writing to the cover/inner / box, very small amount of laminate lift.

Visual       Heavier surface marks to the record but none that cause the stylus to jump or skip.

Sleeve       More obvious creasing, ring wear or laminate lift, worse tears to the cover.
