Anchorage, Alaska label PRAE Records (45-100) 1965 garage 45 rpm single release from THE PROPHETS. Tracks are: CATCH ON / THE MORGAN.
Alaska garage band releases are a rarity although another band called THE PROPHETS probably wasn't really needed! It's a pretty solid organ based effort. The label dates this to 1965 and the trail-off does have a confirming that it was pressed in November of that year.
VG- (VG Minus) condition - it's pretty loaded with light scuffs and scratches. Fortunately, there is nothing deep or that you can feel so plays through pretty nicely. There are some light tics and a little background noise but nothing annoying that gets in the way. The sound files are from the offered 45 tracked at two grams.
