Description
GORGEOUS, UNPLAYED, Original 1977 U.S. Issue >> Never touched by a turntable (See Details Below).
>> This is one of the finest specimens of my collection and, for Alan Parsons, his magnum opus that rivals the work he did with Pink Floyd on 'The Dark Side Of The Moon".
Check out all Eight photos to see this UNPLAYED issue of ALAN PARSONS PROJECT 'I Robot' LP (Arista Records #AL 7002 with stamps in the deadwax/runout zones: "AL-7002-A-S-1" / "AL-7002-B-S-1") featuring "I Robot", "I Wouldn't Want To Be Like You", "Some Other Time", "Breakdown", "Don't Let It Show", "The Voice", "Nucleus", "Day After Day (The Show Must Go On)", "Total Eclipse", and "Genesis Ch.1, V.32" >> NEVER BEEN PLAYED. After almost two years of searching, I finally found this pristine, sealed copy of the original U.S. issue & I REMOVED IT'S FACTORY WRAP to inspect (and to take a few photos) because I originally had plans to keep it as part of my listening library but I haven't owned a turntable in a few years & it will probably be a while before I buy a new one, IF I buy one at all. My loss is your gain. No one else has access to my collection so I am 1000% certain that they have only been handled by me (& VERY briefly, in order to take these photos). I've been surfing eBay for two years and have built up a collection of over 400 cherry-picked vintage LPs (99.9% factory sealed and NO Record Clubs) and I've decided to sell them (I have about 80 left).
>> VINYL CONDITION:
Shimmering medium weight vinyl is in factory-fresh condition (just as you would expect) with just a few superficial ghost-marks that originated somewhere in the production process & should not affect the audio at all. These few light markings are common factory anomalies & most of them usually disappear after the lightest of cleanings. Light blue inner sleeve has a small bit of crinkle from it's original insertion.
>> COVER CONDITION:
Beautiful, jaw-droppin', Medium-Gloss Gatefold Cover looks absolutely factory-mint with sharp & pointy corners except for two very micro wear-spots to the left two corner tips >> Otherwise, AS NEAR TO PERFECT as you can get (& probably will ever find for an original issue of this Alan Parsons classic >> Don't do like I did & look for months & months just to get several overpriced duds); NO other wear spots; NO vinyl ring impression on the cover; NO discoloration, NO water damage, NO cutouts, punch holes, nor writing; NO promo stamps; NO seam splits; spine print is very nicely centered; NO Record Club; NO Barcode, of course.
>> Comes with MINT original STICKER and the original large red shrinkwrap STICKER. All will be tucked away inside the cover.
IMPORTANT: Buyer pays for shipping >> Media Mail is $4.00. Save $$$ on multiple item shipping: I use two types of good boxes: 13 x 13 x 1 1/2" (holds 4-5 single LPs and it's $4 Media Mail for the first LP & 75 cents for each additional LP up to the box capacity) and 13 x 13 x 3" (holds about 7-9 single LPs and it's $6.00 Media Mail for the first LP & 75 cents for each additional LP up to the box capacity). I can also ship outside the continental U.S. but that usually gets a little expensive so please keep that in mind.
