Southern Folk and Blues Heritage

  • Beautiful and rare box set with all booklets and slipcase.
  • Atlantic SD-HS1 (SD 1346 to 1352). Original USA pressing on blue/green label with white fan logo.
  • A seven record set, each with its own booklet.
  • Each LP has a different theme - Roots of the Blues, White Spirituals, Negro Church Music, The Blues Roll On...
  • Just a few of the performers - Fred McDowell, Estil C. Ball, Bessie Jones, Lonnie Young, Mountain Ramblers.
  • Records are all mint with the one following exception: on "Roots of the Blues", there is a tiny but audible mark at the beginning of "All Night Long".
  • Jackets as shown are excellent. Slipcase box is included, has very light wear at corners.
