Description
A beautiful Mint/Mint to Near Mint and likely unplayed 1st pressing of Alan Braufman's Valley of Search on India Navigation. We acquired this from a record distributor collection and it came in it's original loose bag sealed in the back by three pieces of tape, with the original price written in marker on the front--this is how many indie distributed records and imports were sold in the 70's.
We opened and inspected the disc, which shows no signs of being played. There are some light inaudible pressing marks on Side 2 (we spot checked) and the single light spindle marks on each label look as if they could be from the manufacturing process. Ultra clean all around.
The most recent first pressing of this rarity to sell on Ebay was a VG/VG+ copy which sold in May 2020 for $471, so we'll use that as the starting price for this much much nicer example.
We grade all records visually, cover first, then disc; using the abbreviations M / NM / EX / VG with + and -. We try to describe everything as accurately as possible, and spot check any vinyl flaw that looks like it might make a sound. We regularly receive praise for our grading, but as all grading is subjective, we are happy to give a full refund for anything you aren't happy with no questions asked.
Unlike some eBay sellers, we don't feel the need to hype records by including long reviews or albums, quoting lyrics, making up arcane variations. We just grade accurately, describe any flaw, and sell only high quality rare records in fine condition.
