Description
This is Al Wilson with The Snake b/w Who Could Be Lovin' You on Liberty (UK) from 1968.
Quite a scarce one this, I believe. Great slice of late-60s Northern Soul in nice condition. Both sides still clean and glossy overall but with a few hairlines/surface marks here and there that shouldn't affect play; I played it just before listing it and it played fine, with just some crackling on the run-in, which is to be reasonably expected.
Labels are clean with minor storage and spindle wear and centre is intact. These often turn up fairly battered, with missing centres, writing etc.
A very decent copy of an in-demand 51-year old single that has been well handled and not played too often.
It comes with a Liberty sleeve but it's a bit tatty; not hard to replace though.
This is original and not a repro or boot. From the same collection that I got the Vacels 45 from and which is also listed. Low start and no reserve.
Any questions, please ask.
International postage will depend on country. Please ask for price. Thank you.
I noticed on the second photo (the photo of the A-side label and vinyl) that there appear to be some light marks on the disc above the label. These marks are not present on the record and I can only assume it's a trick of the light.
PLEASE DO NOT PAY FOR THIS ITEM UNTIL I SEND AN INVOICE. THANK YOU.
