Super rare Folk-Blues LP, on the UK Yellow and Black Parlophone label.
This is the late Al Jones first LP, and a stunning example of English folk. With Harold McNair on flute, Percy Jones and Spike Heatley on bass, Brian Dodson on drums and Gordon Huntley on Steel Guitar.
This is a MEGA RARE 1st press MONO copy, with its flip-back sleeve and original advert inner sleeve. Mono was quite obscure by this year, making this pressing harder to find than the Stereo issue.
Matrix numbers are: XEX 733-1 and XEX 734-1 stamped on the run off grooves.
Condition: Cover is VG minus, some creasing of laminate, and minor storage wear, but intact and solid. Back cover is clean and fully readable. Spine is intact and fully readabale, with a very small amount of stoarge wear. Vinyl is VG to VG minus, very clean, except 2 light surface marks on side 2, that dont affect play, and do not skip. Other side is scratch free. Labels are very clean and bright. Inner sleeve is EX, almost new. Played through on an "Aucoustic" turntable with a standard stylus.
