This Al Bowlly/Lew Stone single-sided Vinyl 78 is a pressing that was made from the "Original Master Stamper" many years ago. I believe that they were pressed up many years ago for re-release and then the masters were destroyed. What we now have though is a far superior disc than the original Decca shellac pressing.
Disc is in E+ Condition and plays terrifically with considerably less surface noise than from the Decca Shellac copy, lovely sound quality!
This is pretty much a unique Bowlly/Lew Stone item and a one time chance to acquire this! This disc is hard to find on Decca let alone this Vinyl Test!!!
I have quite a few more Bowlly 78s on Vinyl from the Original Master Stampers that I will be listing. I have just acquired a very large and rare collection of Al Bowlly 78s, some exceptionally rare items to come over the coming month or two, 3 Bowlly discs on the "Empire" Label to name but a few, plenty more other very rare Bowlly 78s to come.
